While newspapers are in the decline, technology has helped continue this role that journalism is about telling stories in new ways.
With the college’s $2 million photojournalism endowment from Buffett-Mangelsen-Sartore fund, students travel internationally twice each year. The mission is to document emerging countries in which there are great human needs. These multimedia stories are used to shed light on these needs and, hopefully, to bring about change, help and understanding the better.
